Jason is an associate with the firm’s Virginia Beach office. His practice includes both civil litigation and criminal defense. Jason’s criminal defense practice focuses on matters ranging from serious felonies to traffic offenses. Jason practices criminal defense in both state and federal courts throughout the Tidewater region. Jason has litigated fifteen criminal jury trials and achieved acquittals in a broad range of matters. Additionally, Jason has a varied civil litigation practice that includes estate litigation, collections, and contract litigation.

Representative Matters

  • Represented two beneficiaries of an estate exceeding $900,000 in a lawsuit brought against the Estate
  • Obtained an acquittal for a client unjustly charged with attempted capital murder at a jury trial in the City of Chesapeake
  • Obtained favorable jury verdicts in twelve of the fifteen criminal jury trials previously litigated
  • Represented criminal defendants daily before all courts in the City of Portsmouth and the City of Suffolk for a two and half year period while serving as public defender prior to joining the firm
  • Assisted a local business in the collection of past due accounts
  • Represented the management of a medical practice in employment litigation with a former physician
