Saundra is a member of the firm's real estate, public finance and lender practice groups. Her practice involves all aspects of the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and sale of commercial properties and businesses including office, retail, industrial, apartments, and hotels.

Representative Matters

  • Represents national and regional lenders in all aspects of real estate and secured lending including development financing, construction lending, permanent financing, leasehold financing, asset based/secured transaction lending and public financing
  • Represents lenders in commercial loan workouts, restructures and foreclosures
  • Serves as local counsel to lenders and borrowers in connection with multi-jurisdiction financing of properties including the sale-leaseback financing of a convenience store chain
  • Represents borrowers in connection with loan defeasance
  • Represents developers in acquisitions, dispositions and financings of shopping centers, office buildings, apartment complexes, hotels, condominiums, and mixed-use projects
  • Represents investors and developers in connection with tax credit project financing including low income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits and new markets tax credits
  • Represents landlords and tenants in office and retail lease negotiations including anchor and in-line stores for shopping centers, supermarkets, restaurants, and department stores
  • Represents developers in connection with the acquisition of multi-state portfolio assets
