In a world with an ever increasing number of blended families and second marriages, it is not uncommon for couples to desire to treat all of their children and step-children equally. On many occasions such couples elect to prepare wills or revocable trusts that provide for all assets to pass to the surviving spouse, and upon the death of the surviving spouse, to pass such assets to all of the husband’s children and the wife’s children, with each child getting an equal share.

Government Contracts Update - Final Rule Implementing Executive Order Regarding Nondisplacement of Qualified Workers Under Service Contracts Become Effective January 18, 2013
On December 22, 2012, a final rule was issued (77 Fed. Reg 75,766) amending the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement an Executive Order for Nondisplacement of Qualified Workers Under Service Contracts (Executive Order 13495) and the rule applies to all solicitations issued on or after January 18, 2013.
