Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. is pleased to announce that Paul D. Hawkins has joined the firm’s Norfolk office. Mr. Hawkins is an Associate in the firm’s Government Contracts & Construction Practice Group and the Defense Industry Team.

Mr. Hawkins received his Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from East Carolina University in 2009, and his Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary Law School in 2018.

The Government Contracts & Construction Law Practice Group services a wide range of industries, including construction, ship repair, information technology and government contract suppliers and service providers. Representation includes ship repair companies, high technology firms, manufacturers, service contractors, construction contractors and small and disadvantaged businesses. The team provides assistance in proposal preparation, contract formation and drafting and contract award disputes and performance disputes addressed in court, arbitration or in alternative dispute resolution.
