Kaufman & Canoles One of 20 Firms Nationwide Named to The National Law Journal's "Midsize Hot List"
Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. is featured on The National Law Journals 2010 "Midsize Hot List," which named 20 law firms across the country that have demonstrated creative, innovative strategies to stay competitive. Kaufman & Canoles was one of only two Virginia-based firms to be recognized.
According to The National Law Journal, the midsize law firms selected "found new ways to recruit and retain top talent, develop practice areas, manage their operations and position themselves to stay on track during the economic upheaval." The National Law Journal also noted that those included "have shown the nimbleness and adaptability that come from lean operations and strong client ties." Kaufman & Canoles was selected for its active approach to practice management and its ability to take advantage of niche practices, including the significant growth of the firm's China initiative that focuses on international securities transactions.
"We are honored to be recognized among the country's best midsize firms. Kaufman & Canoles is committed to providing innovative solutions and winning results for our clients and we believe those standards are reflected in the award of this recognition," said William R. Van Buren III, Chairman of Kaufman & Canoles. "From recruiting and retaining the best attorneys, to advancing our clients opportunities for success – We Can. And We Will."
