Overview
Ahmed Mohamed Khalil helps individuals and businesses resolve disputes in and out of court, with a particular focus on real estate matters. Drawing on broad experience across state, federal, and bankruptcy courts, he takes a strategic, client-focused approach to achieving practical results.
In his role as a litigation associate, Ahmed represents a wide range of clients, including landowners, both commercial and residential landlords, small and large businesses, and governmental entities. His work spans a variety of disputes in state and federal courts, as well as creditor-side bankruptcy cases. While Ahmed is versatile in his practice, he predominantly focuses on real estate issues, handling cases that involve contract disputes, eminent domain, partition actions, landlord-tenant issues, trusts and estates, malicious prosecution, and Fair Credit Reporting Act defense.
In addition to litigation, Ahmed advises clients on compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution strategies, often working to resolve issues before they escalate into formal proceedings. He has also represented clients before state licensing boards, including the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation and the Board of Accountancy, and has assisted other land use attorneys within the firm in connection with zoning and other property rights matters.
With his client-centered approach, Ahmed assists individuals and businesses in making informed decisions about when to litigate and when to settle, always with an eye toward achieving each client’s broader business or personal goals in a cost-effective manner.
Ahmed is a member of the Consumer Debt Collection team, the Litigation Section, and Eminent Domain practice group.
