    Alison’s commercial law practice includes corporate law, corporate finance transactions, banking and finance, including loan transactions, loan workouts, debt restructuring and foreclosures, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate and senior housing.

    Representative Matters

    • Represented regional and national banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions in loan transactions, loan workouts, restructurings and foreclosures
    • Represented senior living community (independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing facility) on corporate governance and real estate matters and $82 million debt restructuring
    • Represented real estate investment firm in acquisitions, sales and financings of multi-family and office building properties
    • Represented lenders and property owners in connection with financings, sales, acquisitions, foreclosures, and receiverships of numerous hotel properties
    • Served as borrower’s counsel to a Fortune 500 medical/surgical distributor on its syndicated unsecured credit facility
    • Represented several co-operative associations
    • Represented insurance company in the foreclosure of a major office building in Norfolk, Virginia
    • Represented supermarket chain in the disposition of its convenience store division
    • Represented a leading international beauty supplier in its corporate reorganization involving multiple entities
