Overview

Benny Zhang is a high-performing, dynamic, and versatile attorney and a member of the Firm’s Securities Team, where he advises publicly listed domestic and international companies, as well as underwriters, in the micro-cap space.

A former elected member of the Williamsburg City Council, Benny maintains a robust local practice advising clients on estate planning, corporate, and real estate matters. He currently serves as County Attorney for King William County, outside counsel to the New Kent County Board of Zoning Appeals, and Assistant Commissioner of Accounts for multiple localities within Virginia’s Sixth Judicial Circuit.

Deeply engaged in the Hampton Roads region, Benny brings more than 14 years of experience serving on not-for-profit, regional banking, for-profit, and local and state governmental boards. He values the personal relationships at the core of effective legal counsel and takes a client-centered approach to his practice.
