Overview
As a member of the Real Estate Strategies practice group with over 25 years of experience, Michael Levy’s practice focuses on representing businesses, investors, lenders, landlords and tenants in all facets of commercial real estate transactions. He assists clients with the acquisition, financing, leasing and disposition of office, multifamily, industrial, retail and mixed-use developments, among others.
Michael’s clients span a broad spectrum of asset categories, including their retail, office, industrial/warehouse, multifamily, healthcare and life sciences, restaurant and hospitality, and agricultural and hunting properties. He also counsels real estate clients in their general corporate, management and operational matters.

Beyond the Law
Michael was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, and is a graduate of Norfolk Academy. After attending the University of Virginia, Michael served as an Air Traffic Control officer in the Marine Corps, where he met his wife, Gina (also a Marine Corps officer). While serving with the Marines in California, Michael obtained his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California before returning to Charlottesville to earn his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Michael and Gina have two daughters and live along the banks of the Lafayette River in Norfolk.
