Michael is Of Counsel in the Tysons Corner office and a member of the Corporate & Public Finance practice group. His practice focuses on FINRA Rules and securities laws, including potential Ponzi schemes/investment fraud, market manipulation/pump-and-dump schemes, and theft of customer funds.
- Served in a primary attorney role on multiple “Tier 3” matters involving charges against firms and/or compliance officers for supervisory failures
- Engaged in settlement negotiations with potential respondents and firms; currently acting as the primary attorney in settlement negotiations with multiple firms involving potential fines in the range of $500,000 to $5 million for supervisory failures
