Commercial Bankruptcies for Lenders: The New Bankruptcy Law and the Bankruptcy Process

Earlier this year, a new bankruptcy law became effective that provided for an entirely new type of reorganization bankruptcy. In addition, the recently enacted CARES Act greatly increased the range of companies and individuals that can take advantage of this streamlined bankruptcy process. Cases are already starting to be filed in this District utilizing these new rules.

With many experts predicting a wave of business bankruptcy filings on the horizon, this webinar addressed what items lenders need to focus on to manage what may be an increasing number of borrower relationships through the bankruptcy process.
