    David J. Damiani Joins Kaufman & Canoles Williamsburg Office

    August 2025 – Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce that David J. Damiani has joined the firm’s Williamsburg office as Of Counsel in the Business Tax, Estate, Trust & Wealth Transfer, and Real Estate Strategies practice groups.  

    Prior to joining Kaufman & Canoles, Mr. Damiani worked as a Certified Public Accountant at PB Mares in Williamsburg, Virginia, advising small business owners with strategic tax planning and tax preparation. He is also a published author with professional articles published in Inside Business and Albany Law Journal of Science and Technology. Mr. Damiani earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, and his B.S. and B.A. from Washington & Lee University.

    Kaufman & Canoles’ Business Taxation practice group is experienced in representing and advising clients in all areas of federal and state tax law, with knowledge in and out of the tax arena. The team’s combined background and experience, allows them to tailor a plan to their client’s specific needs.
