January 2017 – Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce that Jeffrey L. Marks has been named the managing director of the firms Virginia Beach office.

Mr. Marks is a member in the Kaufman & Canoles Virginia Beach office where he practices Creditors’ Rights, Commercial Litigation, Family Law, and Bankruptcy Law. He is a dedicated Virginia Beach citizen serving on many boards and committees including, but not limited to, the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival, City of Virginia Beach Library Foundation, Wetlands Board for the City of Virginia Beach, and TowneBank Virginia Beach. Mr. Marks is also a past president of the Virginia Beach Bar Association, and he serves on the Disciplinary Board for the Virginia State Bar.

Mr. Marks earned his B.S. at Washington & Lee University in 1987 and was a practicing Certified Public Accountant before obtaining his J.D. from the College of William & Mary School of Law in 1996.
