Laura C. Hoey Joins Kaufman & Canoles
Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. is pleased to announce that Laura C. Hoey has joined the firm as an Associate in the Newport News office. Ms. Hoey will be a member of the firms Litigation and Eminent Domain Practice Groups.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hoey was a Law Clerk with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Ms. Hoey received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Law and Society from American University in 2011 and her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from William & Mary Law School in 2017.
The Litigation Group at Kaufman & Canoles has experience working on many trials of extreme complexity before juries and judges, in both federal and state courts. Their practice includes alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation, and frequently counseling clients on how best to avoid litigation.
