Michael J. Levy Joins Kaufman & Canoles

April 2024 - Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce that Michael J. Levy has joined the firm.

Mr. Levy is Of Counsel in the firm’s Norfolk office and a member of the Real Estate Strategies practice group. He has substantial experience in all areas of real estate, including the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, construction, and sale of properties for residential, commercial, and industrial use. Michael advises landlords and tenants in commercial and retail leases, as well as developers and property owners in the planning and creation of condominium units.

“Mr. Levy is a distinguished real estate lawyer in the Hampton Roads area,” said Jason R. Davis, President and CEO of Kaufman & Canoles. “His knowledge in navigating complex real estate matters makes him a valuable asset to our team. We are pleased he is joining the team.”

Prior to joining Kaufman & Canoles, Mr. Levy was affiliated with Sykes, Bourdon, Ahern & Levy in Virginia Beach. He previously served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps and received his B.S. from the University of Virginia, his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California, and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

The Kaufman & Canoles Real Estate Strategies Group is composed of attorneys and other professionals who focus on transactional, development, and land use matters, and related areas such as environmental law and tax planning.
