December 2016 – Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce that Nicole J. Harrell was recently named Chair of the firm’s Commercial section. The firm’s Commercial Section is the cornerstone of the firm, providing years of reliable legal guidance and innovative business solutions to clients.

Ms. Harrell is a Member in the firm’s Norfolk office and also Chair of the Data Privacy and Security and Alcoholic Beverage practices. Her diverse legal practice also includes providing legal counsel to clients in the areas of breach responses, intellectual property protection and licensing, franchising, and mergers & acquisitions.

Ms. Harrell earned her B.A. from Hollins College in 1996, her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and her M.B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business in 2001.
