    Terry C. Frank Named Partner at Kaufman & Canoles

    January 2012—Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. is pleased to announce that Terry C. Frank has become a partner of the firm.

    Ms. Frank is a partner in Kaufman & Canoles’ Richmond office, where she concentrates her practice in the representation of banks, credit unions and other secured and unsecured lenders in complex commercial litigation. Ms. Frank’s lender representation includes mortgage litigation, foreclosures, receiverships, recovery of collateral and replevin (NC) actions, lender liability and business torts. Her bankruptcy practice includes representation of trustees, creditors’ committees and defendants in adversary proceedings. Ms. Frank’s practice also includes a variety of corporate and civil matters, including shareholder and derivative claims, disputes relating to real property, title claims, mechanic’s liens, eminent domain, land use and zoning issues. She serves as general counsel to a number of shopping center owners, and frequently lectures on issues facing property owners, brokers and property managers.

    Ms. Frank received her B.A. from Mary Washington College and her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law.
