Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. is pleased to announce that Troy R. Johnson, Jr. has joined the firm as an Associate in the Norfolk office. Mr. Johnson will be a member of the firm’s Health Care and Litigation practice groups. Mr. Johnson received his B.S. from the College of William and Mary and his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law.

Kaufman & Canoles Health Care Group assists clients with a broad range of issues including; medical malpractice actions and disciplinary actions by state licensing boards, defense for professional liability insurance companies, hospitals, and physicians. The team has experience in litigating criminal and civil cases relating, among other things, to Medicare fraud and abuse, reimbursement disputes and representation of medical staff.
