Bankruptcy, Creditors' Rights & Business Restructuring Chair:

Who We Are

We are a full-service bankruptcy team with the experience needed to get clients their desired results. Our team works on various creditor issues both inside and outside of bankruptcy, including workouts, receiverships, foreclosures, relief from stay, defending preference, fraudulent conveyance and other claims against creditors and lenders, contested proceedings, including the use of cash collateral, and contested plan confirmation matters. We have the depth of knowledge necessary to address any workout or bankruptcy resulting from business or loan transactions and litigation. Our complete services include counseling creditors, detinue, commercial litigation, creditors’ rights issues, Article 9 concerns, commercial collections, attachments, and mechanic’s lien enforcement.

With our experience in administering and enforcing secured and unsecured credit, we provide workout and restructure solutions for many loan types – from simple term loans with real or personal property collateral to complex securitized transactions. We also orchestrate receiverships in various circumstances, securing collateral and/or facilitating sales, whether real or personal property.

Our team includes litigators and transactional attorneys dedicated to advising and assisting parties in enforcing or establishing rights against financially troubled companies and individuals.

How We Help

Our multidisciplinary team has the experience and knowledge to help clients recover the maximum amount. Whether a lender with mounting non-performing loans during an economic downturn, or a supplier experiencing longer than usual payment delays, we have a solution for our clients’ needs. We offer clients information on the latest developments and techniques as well as a current and practical understanding of the national and international environment in which they are engaged. Often, we'll collaborate with other teams in the firm to benefit our clients. We treat our clients as if their money was our own, handling matters with the utmost care and urgency.
