Overview
As a Member in the Newport News office of Kaufman & Canoles, Larry Cumming works with a wide variety of individuals and business owners. Larry enjoys the opportunity to represent clients in legal matters related to both their businesses and personal lives. Larry’s practice focuses on zoning and land use matters, commercial transactions, estate planning and administration, and real estate transactions. He also is a skilled civil litigator in cases related to these areas. He helps clients establish, purchase and sell businesses, negotiate loans and leases, develop employment contracts and create succession plans for their businesses. In addition, he represents individual clients in personal matters such as preparing estate plans, purchasing a home, contracting to build a home and handling legal issues regarding the care of elderly parents.
