M. Grayson Owens

Grayson Owens is an attorney in the Raleigh, North Carolina office of Kaufman & Canoles, licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina. His practice includes commercial real estate and corporate finance, representing developers, owners, investors, lenders, and closely held businesses through all stages of the business lifecycle, from entity formation and capital raising to acquisition, financing, and exit.

Grayson counsels a diverse client base on real estate transactions, representing developers, owners, and investors in all phases of the acquisition, development, operation, and disposition of real property. His practice encompasses the leasing of retail, office, industrial, and other commercial properties, as well as real estate financing matters representing both lenders and borrowers.

Grayson is a member of the firm's Corporate & Public Finance practice group and its Securities Team. He represents issuers and investors in private placements and other exempt debt and equity offerings, guiding clients through deal structuring, subscription and purchase agreements, offering materials, and compliance with federal and state securities laws.
