Michael J. Levy
Biography
Michael is Of Counsel in the firm’s Norfolk office and a member of the Real Estate Strategies practice group. He has substantial experience in all areas of commercial real estate including the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, construction, and sale of apartment projects, office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, mixed-use projects, and residential developments. Michael regularly advises developers, builders, investors, lenders, landlords, tenants, property managers, estates, and individuals on real estate matters, including among other aspects, land use and zoning issues. He is seasoned in obtaining rezonings, conditional use permits, expansions of nonconformities and text amendments to municipal ordinances as required for commercial developments. In addition to his real estate practice, Michael advises and assists clients with wills, trusts and estate planning and administration, as well as the organization, purchase, and sale of business entities.
