Will’s practice focuses on real estate, business consulting, estate planning and administration, and eminent domain. Will’s clients range from individuals and family businesses to large corporations and municipalities. - Representation of a 2,000-unit age-restricted community in numerous master plan and zoning revisions
- Representation of numerous developers in rezonings, special use permits, comprehensive plan amendments
- Representation of metal recycling facility in zoning amendment and resolution of disputes with adjacent owners
- Representation of homeowners association in coordination with developer of mixed-use community for collaborative revision of community master plan
Eminent Domain
- Representation of hundreds of landowners and businesses impacted by major regional natural gas pipeline project to negotiate fair compensation and minimization of impacts from proposed taking
- Representation of numerous landowners’ and businesses’ eminent domain cases involving VDOT, localities, and utility providers
Private Client Services
- Representation of numerous executors, trustees, and families in estate and trust administrations
- Representation of clients in all ranges of estate planning needs, from the preparation of simple wills and power of attorney documents to complex tax planning, including preparation and funding of revocable living trusts
