May 2016 - Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce the 32nd Annual Employment Law Update - Building a Solid Foundation - will be held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in July. The employment law seminar will provide attendees with the tools necessary to stay on top of the constantly changing employment law area, including the recent DOL salary threshold changes. Whether a large corporation or small business, anyone involved in employment decisions and/or practices will benefit from attending this timely seminar.

Attendees will receive updates on important legal changes and will be encouraged to ask questions of our employment law specialists and key employment agency representatives throughout the day. In addition, attendees can earn up to 6 credit hours toward PHR and SPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and 5 PDCs toward the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. In keeping with this year's theme, one lucky attendee will win a $350 gift card to a Home Depot to help shore up their home's foundation.

The seminar will be held at the Hampton Roads Convention Center on July 21, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $365 for the first registrant and $345 for each additional.
