May 2017 - Equity Strategies, LLC is pleased to announce that the company has changed its name to ESOP Strategies, LLC. The professionals at ESOP Strategies focus on helping business owners determine the feasibility of, and structuring, sales of private companies to employees, primarily through the use of employee stock ownership plans, or ESOPs.

ESOP Strategies is a subsidiary of Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. Led by President Richard C. Mapp III, the ESOP Strategies team includes ESOP lawyers Christopher McLean and Robert Johnson, as well as financial analyst Ryan L. Dewey. The team has structured and closed more than $850 million in ESOP transactions over the past 25 years. They regularly consult with business owners, management, lenders, and financial and tax advisors with respect to buyout transactions and stock-based incentives for privately owned businesses.
