February 2025 - Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce that Joseph E. Houchin was named to Super Lawyers Magazine’s 2025 North Carolina’s Rising Star for Criminal Defense: White Collar law.

Mr. Houchin is an attorney in the firm’s Raleigh office. He is the Chair of the White-Collar Defense and Investigations practice group and a member of the Litigation Practice Group as well as the Government Contracts & Defense, and Sports & Entertainment Industry Teams.

Super Lawyers North Carolina Rising Stars are chosen by their peers as being among the top up-and-coming lawyers (40 years old or younger, or in practice 10 years or less) in the state. Only 2.5 percent of North Carolina’s attorneys are given this honor.
