January 2023 - Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce that Neil S. Talegaonkar has been elected a Member of the firm. Practicing in the firm’s Richmond office, Mr. Talegaonkar is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment, Health Care, Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Alliances, and Government & Municipal Law practice groups. He regularly helps employers navigate the day-to-day landmines of state and federal law throughout the life cycle of the employer-employee relationship. Mr. Talegaonkar also represents companies, healthcare providers, and executives with employment issues in commercial transactions and contract negotiations. Additionally, he defends employers in employment charges brought by various state and federal agencies and employment claims in state and federal court. Mr. Talegaonkar also litigates contract and tort claims in other areas of law, including commercial disputes, shareholder disputes, intellectual property, and administrative law.

Mr. Talegaonkar earned his B.A. from Tulane University and his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law.
