Philip L. Hatchett Inducted as Fellow in the Virginia Law Foundation Class of 2024

January 2024 - Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce the induction of Philip L. Hatchett as a Fellow in the Virginia Law Foundation Class of 2024. Election as a Fellow is the highest recognition by one's colleagues recognized for leadership in their practice, their community, and the Commonwealth.

Mr. Hatchett currently serves as managing director of the firm’s Newport News office. Mr. Hatchett’s practice emphasizes business formation and financing, as well as estate planning, tax, and wealth transfer. He received his B.S. from Washington & Lee University and his J.D. from University of Richmond School of Law.

The induction took place on Thursday, January 18, 2024, in Williamsburg, VA. Mr. Hatchett joined a group of more than 750 Fellows in Virginia, dedicated to upholding the highest principles of the law and embodying the concept of a citizen lawyer.
