December 2025 – Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce that Shirley Beacham has been selected for Virginia Lawyers Weekly Unsung Legal Heroes Class of 2025.
Shirley is the Controller in Kaufman & Canoles’ Norfolk office and is a key member of the Firm’s executive team. In her role as Controller, Shirley is responsible for maintaining the firm’s books and records, as well as reporting financial results monthly, quarterly, and annually to attorneys, banks, and government agencies. Her ability to identify and implement efficiencies has streamlined operations, enhancing the overall functionality of the accounting department and benefiting the entire Firm.
