May 2019 - Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce Ann K. Crenshaw, Charles V. McPhillips, and Thomas K. Norment, Jr. were selected to Inside Business' 2019 Power List. In addition, Vincent J. Mastracco Jr. and William R. Van Buren III were selected for the Emeritus List

Ms. Crenshaw's practice includes commercial real estate services in the areas of zoning, land use, development and transactions, including purchasing and leasing. She also represents lenders and borrowers in transactional matters.

Mr. Mastracco works with clients as they buy, sell and grow their businesses and enter into new markets. Vince brings 30 years' experience as bond counsel, underwriters counsel, issuers counsel and borrowers counsel in tax-exempt financing and has been instrumental in assembling many of the most significant commercial developments and public-private partnerships in Hampton Roads.

Mr. McPhillips has more than 30 years of business law practice including public-private partnerships, government contractor transactions, international sales and investment transactions, mergers, acquisitions and financings, joint ventures and corporate/limited liability company law.

Mr. Norment specializes in civil, criminal and administrative litigation and timeshare law, as well as commercial real estate transactions in the firm's Williamsburg office.

Mr. Van Buren is the Chairman of Kaufman & Canoles. His commercial law practice includes corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, capital formation, contract negotiation and health care.
