January 2016 - Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce that J. Britton Williston has been elected a Member at the firm.

Mr. Williston practices in the firm's Norfolk office and is a member of the Commercial Section, the Corporate and Public Finance Practice Group and the firm's China Team. His practice includes advising clients on private equity, securities offerings and regulation, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions. He has also assisted numerous China-based companies with their initial public offerings, SEC compliance issues and other corporate matters.

Mr. Williston earned his B.A., with distinction, from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
