March 2023 - Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce that Megan Martz Gilliland has been named one of Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s 2023 Influential Women of Virginia. This awards program honors women attorneys and judges for their excellent work on behalf of the justice system and for their clients, their commitment to their communities and their service to the profession.
Ms. Gilliland is a member of the Commercial, Corporate & Public Finance, and Government & Municipal Law practice groups. She concentrates her practice on public finance, local government, general corporate business and tax-related matters. She earned her B.A., cum laude, from the College of William & Mary, her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law, and her LL.M., with distinction, from Georgetown University Law Center.
