September 2020 - Kaufman & Canoles is pleased to announce that Vincent J. Mastracco Jr., Alison M. McKee, Thomas K. Norment Jr., and William R. Van Buren III were selected for inclusion in the inaugural edition of Virginia Business’ Virginia 500 – The Power List.
Mr. Mastracco is a member of the Norfolk office of Kaufman & Canoles. As a business attorney, Vince works with clients as they buy, sell and grow their businesses and enter into new markets. Vince brings over 30 years of experience as bond counsel, underwriters counsel, issuers counsel and borrowers counsel in tax-exempt financing and has been instrumental in assembling many of the most significant commercial developments and public-private partnerships in Hampton Roads.
Ms. McKee is of counsel in the firm’s Virginia Beach office and the current President of the Virginia Bar Association. Her commercial law practice includes corporate law, corporate finance transactions, banking and finance, including loan transactions, loan workouts, debt restructuring and foreclosures, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, and senior housing.
Mr. Norment is of counsel in the firm’s Williamsburg office. He specializes in civil, criminal and administrative litigation and timeshare law, as well as commercial real estate transactions.
Mr. Van Buren is President and Chairman of the firm. His practice includes corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, capital formation, contract negotiation, and healthcare. His extensive experience also covers public company mergers, private company acquisitions and dispositions, strategic investments, and corporate solutions.
