Practical Advice: Basics of Sports and Entertainment Law Seminar CLE

March 01, 2023

The continuous growth and developments in the sports and entertainment industries have created increasing interplay with new industries, businesses, and interested parties, expanding complex legal needs for athletes, entertainers, and organizations. The program presenters will focus on Virginia law, providing practical advice and helpful tips when representing clients engaged in the sports and entertainment industries, including the new frontier of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals.

Attendees will obtain a basic understanding of sports and entertainment law in Virginia. Primarily geared to address the needs of the non-specialist attorney, this seminar will help attendees understand the general commercial, contractual, employment, intellectual property, trusts and estates, and administrative law concepts as applied to the sports and entertainment industries.
