Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. is pleased to announce that Alisha R. Wisener has joined the firm’s Norfolk office. Ms. Wisener is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation practice group.

Ms. Wisener received her Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University and her J.D. from Regent University School of Law. During her 2L and 3L years, she was a Teacher’s Assistant for the 1L Research & Writing program. Ms. Wisener also interned at the Virginia Court of Appeals, where she assisted the Honorable Robert J. Humpherys with researching Virginia law and preparing bench memoranda.

Kaufman & Canoles’ Litigation practice group trial experience is vast, with an impressive record of success in many trials of extreme complexity before juries and judges, in both federal and state courts. The team is skilled at all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation, and frequently counsel clients on how best to avoid litigation.
